Great Speakers,

I am so happy with these speakers. I have a Yamaha RX-V565 amplifier and am in the process of upgrading my speakers for true 7.1 surround sound. I am using these speakers for the rear and side locations. I just ordered a pair of Sony SS-B3000 speakers for my front left and right speakers. I am excited about receiving them also based on the great reviews here at Amazon. The SS-1000 speakers are truly a good sound. I would reccomend buying them. Look great sound great, what more does one need.

Awesome sounding speakers. The tremendous sound coming out of these little guys is unreal. After hooking them up and listening to them I found it hard to believe they cost so little!!!

Purchased these bookshelf speakers to use in my shop. They have excellent sound at all volume levels. Purchased an open box pair from Amazon which said that the speakers had cosmetic damage however they were in perfect condition and worked great. Would highly recommend the SS-B1000's for someone looking for a budget priced speakers and good value.

I bought these a month ago (along with a Yamaha audio receiver), and since I got them I've been rediscovering my entire music collection. Every song sounds so much better now... nothing compared to my old Logitech speakers. Also the Yamaha receiver and these speakers combined were a lot cheaper than any other above-average 2.1 retail sound systems - I was even able to buy a decent replacement subwoofer.
I listen a lot to Spanish guitar albums, and I feel the guitar is right there in front of me. You can't go wrong with these speakers.

The speakers were not as loud as expected. My speakers from 1985 were large but much more effective.
